Terms of Service
By using allinnote.com and the AllInNote application (the “Service”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
AllInNote is a free, browser-based multi-note text editor. It runs in your browser and can save notes to browser storage and, with your permission, to a folder on your computer. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
2. Your content and your responsibility
- You keep all rights to the text you write. We do not receive, host or claim any rights in your notes.
- You are responsible for what you write and for having the right to use any text you paste or open.
- You are responsible for backing up your data. Notes kept only in browser storage can be lost if you clear site data, switch browsers or devices, or if the browser removes the data. Saving to a folder and keeping your own backups is strongly recommended.
- When you grant folder access you authorize the app to create, overwrite and rename
.txtfiles in that folder. Choose a folder dedicated to your notes; do not select a folder containing files you do not want modified. If a name collides with an existing file, the app adds a number rather than overwriting it, but you should still keep backups.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or overload it, probing or bypassing its security, reverse-engineering it to attack it, using it to break the law or infringe the rights of others, or using automated means to place excessive load on the site.
4. Intellectual property
The site, its design, code, name and logo are owned by the operator of AllInNote and protected by applicable laws. You may use the Service for personal and professional note-taking. You may not copy or resell the Service or its branding without permission.
5. Advertising and third-party services
The Service may display advertising from Google AdSense and may link to third-party websites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products or practices. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Browser features differ; some functions are unavailable in some browsers.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for it, which is zero for the free Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) and able to form a binding agreement, or use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian.
9. Copyright complaints and trademarks
We do not host, store or publish user notes, so the Service is not a place where users share content with others. If you believe material on allinnote.com itself infringes your copyright, email contact@allinnote.com with the page address, a description of the work and your contact details, and we will review it promptly. Names such as Google, Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Cloudflare and GitHub are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility; AllInNote is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
10. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of anyone's rights.
11. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the “Last updated” date shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. We may restrict access to the Service for anyone who violates these terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of the Service, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and mandatory consumer-protection laws of your place of residence remain unaffected.
13. General
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and the operator regarding the Service.
