About AllInNote
AllInNote is a free, browser-based multi-note editor. Instead of juggling dozens of Notepad windows, you see up to 100 plain-text notes at once, arranged on one screen, and every note is saved as its own .txt file in a folder you choose.
Why we built it
Many people keep a lot of small notes open at the same time: meeting minutes, code snippets, shopping lists, drafts, copied text, research fragments. Ordinary text editors give each note its own window or tab, so you constantly switch back and forth. AllInNote puts all of those notes in a single grid so you can read, compare, search and edit them together, while still keeping your data in the simplest possible format: plain text files that you own.
What you can do
- Work with up to 100 notes on one screen. Notes are always the same size and the grid adapts to the window. Pick a layout such as 5 × 2 by dragging over a small board.
- Automatic saving to your own folder. Choose a folder once; whatever you type is saved automatically as note name.txt in that folder. Rename a note and the file is renamed too.
- Open existing text files. Load
.txtfiles into notes, edit them and keep saving to the same file. - Find and replace across notes. Notes that contain a word get a red outline. Replace in the selected note, or in every note at once.
- Organize visually. Drag notes to reorder them, pick one of ten pastel colors per note, enlarge a note temporarily, duplicate a note, or pin a note to lock it against edits.
- Format for reading. Choose any font installed on your computer, the text size, bold and italic. Links in your text are clickable.
- Print the selected notes or all notes.
- Light and dark mode.
Your notes stay with you
AllInNote runs entirely in your browser. The text you type is not sent to our servers. It is kept in your browser and, if you choose a folder, written directly to that folder on your own computer. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
